Welcome to Kalkbrottet Rehab!

We are currently looking for a physiotherapist for one of our rehabilitation sections within ordinary housing. Our work group consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation nursing assistants, a caretaker, and a care administrator.

Here, you will be part of a cross-professional team that contributes to a meaningful daily life for the residents of Malmö through rehabilitation, training, and assistive devices, making a difference every day.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of a physiotherapist in the City of Malmö, you create good conditions for individuals to live as independently as possible. You are part of a team where you collaborate with nurses, occupational therapists, and care staff, and participate in care planning. The work is based on the individual's needs, personal prerequisites, and participation.

As a licensed physiotherapist, you perform functional assessments and evaluate, plan, and carry out rehabilitative interventions. Together with the patient and the team, you create rehabilitation plans with clearly defined goals and design individual training plans. You assess and prescribe technical assistive devices as needed. The role also involves supervising other staff in a rehabilitative approach.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed physiotherapist (180 ECTS credits)
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Is accustomed to using the computer as a work tool and has the ability to quickly learn new programs and systems
• Can ride a bicycle

It is meritorious if you

• Have experience with rehabilitation within municipal operations
• Have a Category B driver's license
